‘Thanks for a wonderful day out yesterday.
Incredible experience. One of the great days in golf that everyone who comes to the Liverpool area should experience.
Formby Ladies was an incredibly fun warm up for the true test at Formby later in the day. Conditioning was impeccable and the routing and variety of holes are sublime.
We were warmly welcomed by all the members and the staff was friendly and attentive.’
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the under 18 teams from Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire and Lancashire to Formby Golf Club this week for the Four Counties Tournament.
Although conditions are a little windy, we are sure you will enjoy our course and hospitality and we wish you all the very best for your upcoming games ahead.

We would like to extend a hearty welcome to new staff member in our Professional shop, Eva Brunskill.
‘Hello, my name is Eva Brunskill and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new assistant professional at your esteemed club. I have had a passion for golf since a young age and have been a member of Hillside Golf Club since the age of 10.
I have had the privilege of representing Lancashire and being a squad member of the Northwest of England at the junior level. These experiences have not only honed my skills but also instilled in me a great respect and love for the game.
In pursuit of my dreams, I was fortunate to receive a golf scholarship at Midwestern State University in Texas. There, I completed my degree in 2023, achieving a BSc in Psychology and minoring in Kinesiology and Coaching. This unique combination has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the mental aspects of the game, which I believe to be crucial in helping players reach their full potential.
It is an immense honor for me to join such a prestigious club like Formby. I am committed to furthering my skills and knowledge by completing my PGA qualification and turning professional. My ambition is to not only contribute to the success of the club but also to support and inspire fellow golfers in their journey.’
