Open Competitions

Formby Golf Club hosts a number of Open Competitions throughout the year including the famous ‘Formby Hare’.

Please see details of all of our upcoming ‘Open Events’ below:

  • Monday August 11th 2025 - Junior Mixed Open

    Formby’s Junior Open will take place on Monday August 11th 2025, further details will be released in due course

  • Sunday 18th May 2025 - Formby Hare

    The Formby Hare will be played as a 36 hole scratch competition in conjunction with S&A for the Lancashire links Trophy.

    The event will also be a WAGR qualifying competition.
