Formby Golf Club history

There is so much history associated with Formby Golf Club which club historian Ian Jamson is slowly uncovering.

Here is a great example of an early ‘flier’ from 1930’s club professional J.H. Busson, who incidentally was involved in the great fund raising effort by Henry Cotton in WW2, where Henry toured the UK raising much needed funds for the Red Cross through matches against fellow ‘pros’.

An interesting read for sure!
