Andrew Witherup, who joined in May 2008, is the professional.
In charge of the Pro's shop, Andrew has been a fully qualified PGA professional
for more than thirteen years, initially at Aldersey Green before moving to West
Derby in 1997 and from there to Formby.
Andrew has extensive coaching experience and enjoys the challenge of both beginners
and experienced players. Individual lessons and full courses are available.
Andrew offers a custom fitting service and advises on the best selection of clubs
for any individual using the vector launch monitor. The monitor measures swing speed,
spin rate and launch angle of the ball which gives data to show the customer
how much extra yardage can be gained from the best equipment for them.

worked with Andrew at West Derby and has just finished his year one PGA training.
